If you’re looking for some inspiration, here are some things that are keeping me going through this seasonal change:
MUSIC
NoSo - ParasiteS
As we're opening up our lives to 'normal' living again I find the hook 'so lovely to meet you again' from this song playing often in my head. It is 'so lovely' to be doing normal things, to see people's smiles, to connect to community and the human experience in all of the small day to day things that I don't think I'll take for granted again. Watch the music video HERE.
Måneskin - If I can dream
Music was a big deal in my home growing up. I Listened to this song by Elvis when I was small, and Måneskin's version feels fresh and so right now for where we are. Find this song on the Elvis film soundtrack, or where you get your music digitally. Watch the music video HERE.
RECIPE
Nothing says fall in the kitchen quite like roasting vegetables. CLICK HERE for my favorite Bon Appetite recipe for roasted Brussel sprouts.
FAV SEATTLE SPOT TO WANDER
I love Seattle in the Fall. The city puts on quite a show. I always find fall heartbreakingly beautiful. The colors are hypnotic but we know they're fleeting - hence the heartbreak. This time of year I love wandering through the Japanese Gardens at the Arboretum taking in all of the vibrant fall colors. It's an easy in-city retreat that you can fit into your day. https://www.seattlejapanesegarden.org
